Originally River Echo's main focus was to bring international visitors to Wakefield on an 'English language holiday' so they can share in our good fortune of living in a beautiful place like the Gatineau Hills.
However, we soon found out that people in the area also wanted what we had to offer. We soon added French, then Spanish and German to our repertory.
Since we opened in 1999, our clientele has been steadily growing.
- We now serve local and regional businesses.
- We have government employees attending immersion courses at River Echo for both English and French.
- We supply training in businesses and government agencies, both inhouse and on our premises.
