FOR NATURE LOVERS: The village of Wakefield is only 20 minutes north of Ottawa and borders on the Gatineau National Park. Rivers, forests, hills, lakes, farms, wildlife, caves, etc. etc.

FOR CULTURE LOVERS: Our village life is also great for the culturally inclined - many artists make there home here and the Black Sheep Inn features excellent live music for (nearly) every taste. People are interested and interesting.
And of course, there's Ottawa, Canada's beautiful capital with its cultural attractions of world class: museums, galeries, architecture, festivals, theatre, and dance.

A summer day in the Gatineau Park

This Program Includes:
15 HRS. OF GENERAL LANGUAGE TRAINING per week - A TOTAL OF 30 HOURS of (inter-)active learning Emphasis is on (inter-)active communication with the locals and everyday English or French
2 guided activities per week (1/2 day) e.g. the National Gallery, hiking in the Gatineau Park, a canoe tour. 1 guided full-day activity on the weekend The group decides what and where (some extra charges may apply, depending on choice) Teaching materials, and refreshment at the school.
